TESSERACT SCHOOL ANNOUNCES
NEW BOARD CHAIR AND TRUSTEE
PARADISE VALLEY, ARIZONA—September 28, 2011—Tesseract School announced two new appointments to its board of trustees, Paulina Vazquez Morris, chairman, and Michael Grossman, trustee.
Vazquez Morris, active in the legal and political communities, has served on Tesseract’s board for more than three years. She was recently appointed board chairman after previously serving as board vice chairman.
“It is an honor to be serving as the current chairman of the board of trustees,” said Vazquez Morris. “It is such an exciting time at Tesseract. Realizing our dream and vision of creating an excellent educational experience for students from early childhood through the 12th grade has become a reality this year.”
President and founder of the communications and advocacy firm Fifty Plus One, an organization dedicated to building support for sustainable companies and causes, board chairman for the Green Chamber of Commerce and a Tesseract parent, Grossman has been an active member of the Tesseract School community, serving on the school’s Marketing Committee.
"Tesseract has been an intellectual haven for our kids to explore, engage their curiosities and pursue their interests in a nurturing environment,” said Grossman. “Nigel and the dedicated staff balance a philosophically globally-centered worldview with practical hands on applications that integrate into a unique holistic educational experience. I look forward towards helping the school expand and deliver on their mission."
