TESSERACT SCHOOL ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS TO
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
PARADISE VALLEY, ARIZONA—June 1, 2011—Tesseract School announced three new appointments to its board of trustees, Paulina Vazquez Morris, vice chairman, Christopher Bowley and Kent Voss.
“Paulina has been a member of our board for several years now; we are thrilled to have her serve in this new role.” noted Nigel Taplin, Tesseract’s head of school.
Vazquez Morris, active in the legal and political communities, has been an active member of the Tesseract community for more than five years. “The learning environment here is exceptional—individual student focus, educators who understand the students and their learning needs and styles, small classes, an outstanding performing arts program, global perspective and so much more—our sons thrive here,” said Vazquez Morris. “Our family has been blessed to be part of this community; I am delighted to be able to continue to offer my support to this wonderful school, and am excited that I am able to do so in this new leadership role.”
President of Murano Properties, and a Tesseract parent, Bowley has been an active member of the Tesseract School community, serving on the school’s Buildings and Grounds Committee and playing a pivotal role in the research and development for future plans for the middle and high school campus. “I enjoy being able to share my background and assist the school through my participation on the Buildings and Grounds Committee,” noted Bowley. “I look forward to serving on the board and helping this remarkable school in whatever way I can.”
Voss, managing director of research for Koch Industries Inc., and a Tesseract parent, is actively involved on the school’s Finance Committee in addition to his new role as a board member. “I am honored to be a member of the board,” noted Voss. “This is an exceptional school and I am happy to be able to contribute to the Tesseract community and the school’s continued growth through my involvement on the board and the Finance Committee.”
“We are extremely pleased to have had both Christopher and Kent join our board,” continued Taplin. “Christopher’s background in land development and construction and Kent’s background in finance will further enhance our board as well as the committees to which they both continue to volunteer their time and expertise.”
