TESSERACT SCHOOL BOARD OF TRUSTEES
PARADISE VALLEY, ARIZONA—September 22, 2010—Tesseract School announced today that Daphne Charlton Cadwell has been appointed to serve as a member of the board of trustees for Tesseract School.
“I have been involved in the school for about four years now and have loved every minute of it. Working with the school and the staff has been an honor,” said Charlton Cadwell. “My son has really grown here; I can’t say enough about how supportive the school has been―I am truly grateful for all of the support we’ve received from the faculty and staff. I am very happy to take on this role of being a board Trustee and helping Tesseract continue to thrive as a leader in education in the Valley.”
An alumna of Pine Manor College and Scottsdale Community College, Charlton Cadwell earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. An educator for several years, Charlton Cadwell has been an active member of the Tesseract School community, co-chairing the school’s 2009 and 2010 spring Green Tie Gala fund-raisers, and assisting with the school’s service-learning program, Tesseract Community Outreach (TCO), helping facilitate multiple school functions and volunteering as a Room Mom.
“We truly appreciate Daphne’s support of, and enthusiasm for, Tesseract School,” said Nigel Taplin, Tesseract’s head of school. “Daphne has shown her dedication to the school in many ways, and we are so pleased that she has taken on this new role as a member of the board.”
