TESSERACT SCHOOL ANNOUNCES
APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF TRUSTEES
PARADISE VALLEY, ARIZONA—November 21, 2011—Tesseract School announced two new appointments to its board of trustees, Kent Voss, vice chairman and Todd Belfer, trustee.
“I am thrilled Kent accepted this important leadership position on the board,” said Nigel Taplin, head of Tesseract School. “Kent has contributed a lot of ideas, time and expertise through his work on the finance committee and the board and is well-respected by his peers.”
Voss, managing director of research for Koch Industries Inc. and a Tesseract parent, is actively involved on the school’s Finance Committee and was recently appointed board vice chairman after previously serving as a board trustee.

Belfer, managing partner of Canal Partners and a Tesseract parent, has a long history of entrepreneurship and has been involved with a wide range of businesses throughout his career including co-founding Employee Solutions, Inc. and M.D. Labs. Additionally he is a board member of The Crossroads, a recovery center, and has been a dedicated volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
“In addition to his strong commitment to the school and its vision, Todd’s entrepreneurial perspective and ties to the community are a wonderful addition to the board,” said Taplin.
“I am thrilled to be part of the Tesseract team. The individuals at the school have changed our life, and most importantly, my son's life,” said Belfer. “Education is one thing, but building a sense of community which helps spawn these kids' identity to becoming young adults is so important."
